PsbQ is a 16 kD extrinsic subunit of the oxygen evolving complex of Photosystem II. PsbQ participates in the regulation of oxygen evolution and stabilizes the oxygen evolving complex of PSII. It is required for photoautotrophic growth under conditions of low light. |
