Background: |
ATOBGC is a chloroplast protein which is close to the Obg nucleotide binding protein subfamily and displays GTPase activity. ATOBGC is required for the normal organization of mature thylakoid stacks, and ultimately for embryo development. And it is involved in thylakoid membrane biogenesis and functions primarily in plastid ribosome biogenesis during chloroplast development. |
