Background: |
NST1 and NST2 are redundant in regulating secondary wall thickening in anther walls and siliques. An NST1 promoter fusion was detected in various tissues in which lignified secondary walls develop. Both MYC2 and MYC4 bind to the NST1 promoter and appear to regulate its expression in response to blue light. |
