Immunogen: AT1G50250 Q39102 Synonyms: FTSH1, FTSH PROTEASE 1 Background:
FtsH is an essential ATP-dependent metalloprotease for protein quality control in the thylakoid membrane of Arabidopsis thaliana chloroplasts. It is required for chloroplast development during leaf growth, and particularly for the specific degradation of photo-damaged D1 protein in the photosystem II (PSII) complex to maintain photosynthesis activity. In the Arabidopsis thaliana genome, 12 genes encoding members of the FtsH family have been identified. Nine of these proteins (FtsH1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, and 12) are located in the chloroplast. -

Immunogen: AT5G63110 Q9FML2 Synonyms: HDA6, ATHDA6, AXE1, HISTONE DEACETYLASE 6, RNA-MEDIATED TRANSCRIPTIONAL SILENCING 1, RPD3B, RTS1, SIL1 Background:
HDA6 is a general repressor of pathogen defence response and plays important roles in inhibiting and modulating the expression of pathogen-responsive genes in Arabidopsis. -

Immunogen: AT5G44200 Q9XFD1 Synonyms: CBP20, ATCBP20, CAP-BINDING PROTEIN 20 Background:
CBP20 is a nuclear cap-binding protein that forms a heterodimeric complex with ABH1 (AT2G13540) and is likely to participate in RNA metabolism. It recognizes and binds capped RNAs (m7GpppG-capped RNA) but requires ABH1/CBP80 to stabilize the movement of its N-terminal loop and lock the CBC into a high affinity cap-binding state with the cap structure. -

Immunogen: AT4G26840 P55852 Synonyms: SUMO1, ARABIDOPSIS THALIANA SMALL UBIQUITIN-LIKE MODIFIER 1, ATSUMO1, SMALL UBIQUITIN-LIKE MODIFIER 1, SUM1 Background:
SUMO1 is a small ubiquitin-like modifier (SUMO) polypeptide that becomes covalently attached to various intracellular protein targets, much like ubiquitination, leading to post-translational modification of those targets. -

Immunogen: AT5G23040 Q9FN50 Synonyms: CPP1, CDF1, CELL GROWTH DEFECT FACTOR 1, CHAPERONE-LIKE PROTEIN OF POR1, CYCLING DOF FACTOR 1 Background:
CPP1 enables protochlorophillide's binding to pPORA's transit sequence, regulating pPORA's translocation into the plastid stroma, and blocking movement of the translocating polypeptide chain back into the cytosol. -

Immunogen: AT2G44490 O64883 Synonyms: PEN2, BETA GLUCOSIDASE 26, BGLU26, PENETRATION 2 Background:
PEN2 is a glycosyl hydrolase that localizes to peroxisomes and acts as a component of an inducible preinvasion resistance mechanism. PEN2 is a tail-anchored protein with dual-membrane targeting to peroxisomes and mitochondria and that PEN2 has the capacity to form homo-oligomer complexes.
