Immunogen: AT1G50250 Q39102 Synonyms: FTSH1, FTSH PROTEASE 1 Background:
FtsH is an essential ATP-dependent metalloprotease for protein quality control in the thylakoid membrane of Arabidopsis thaliana chloroplasts. It is required for chloroplast development during leaf growth, and particularly for the specific degradation of photo-damaged D1 protein in the photosystem II (PSII) complex to maintain photosynthesis activity. In the Arabidopsis thaliana genome, 12 genes encoding members of the FtsH family have been identified. Nine of these proteins (FtsH1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, and 12) are located in the chloroplast. -

Immunogen: P23577 Synonyms: PetA, Cytochrome f protein (PetA) of thylakoid Cyt b6/f-complex
Background:
Cytochrome f is the largest subunit of cytochrome b6f complex. In its structure and functions, the cytochrome b6f complex bears extensive analogy to the cytochrome bc1 complex of mitochondria and photosynthetic purple bacteria. Cytochrome f(cyt f) plays a role analogous to that of cytochrome c1, in spite of their different structures. Multi-subunit complex of cytb6/f is a crucial component for the photosynthetic electron transport chain of higher plants, green algae and cyanobacteria. This complex is catalyzing oxidation of quinols and the reduction the reduction of plastocyanin. -

Immunogen: AT1G64740 P11139 Synonyms: TUA1/2/3/4/5/6 Background:
Tubulin in molecular biology can refer either to the tubulin protein superfamily of globular proteins, or one of the member proteins of that superfamily. The tubulin superfamily contains six families of tubulins (alpha-, beta-, gamma-, delta-, epsilon and zeta-tubulins). Tubulin alpha (TUA) together with beta tubulin is making up microtubules. -

Immunogen: AT3G26650 P25856 Synonyms: GAPA1, GAPA, GAPA-1, GLYCERALDEHYDE 3-PHOSPHATE DEHYDROGENASE A SUBUNIT, GLYCERALDEHYDE 3-PHOSPHATE DEHYDROGENASE A SUBUNIT 1 Background:
GAPA1 is involved in the photosynthetic reductive pentose phosphate pathway. It catalyzes the reduction of 1,3-diphosphoglycerate by NADPH. -

Immunogen: ATCG00490 O03042 Synonyms: RbcL, Ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase, oxygenase Background:
Ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase commonly known by the abbreviation RuBisCO, is an enzyme involved in the first major step of carbon fixation, a process by which atmospheric carbon dioxide is converted by plants to energy-rich molecules such as glucose. In chemical terms, it catalyzes the carboxylation of ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate (also known as RuBP). It is probably the most abundant enzyme on Earth.
The enzyme usually consists of two types of protein subunit, called the large chain (RbcL) and the small chain (RbcS). -

Immunogen: AT1G20630 Q96528 Synonyms: Cat 1/2, Catalase 1/2 Background:
Catalase is a tetrameric iron porphyrin that catalyses the dismutation of H2O2 to water and oxygen. The Arabidopsis genome encodes three catalase subunits, CAT1 (AT1G20630), CAT2 (AT4G35090), and CAT3 (AT1G20620). These three individual subunits associate to form at least six catalase isoforms.
