TLP18.3 / Anti-Thylakoid lumen 18.3 kDa protein antibody
The membrane protein AtTLP18.3 of Arabidopsis (Arabidopsis thaliana) contains a domain of unknown function, DUF477; it forms a polysome with photosynthetic apparatuses in the thylakoid lumen. AtTLP18.3 has the molecular function of a novel acid phosphatase in the thylakoid lumen. DUF477 is accordingly renamed the thylakoid acid phosphatase domain.
PhytoAB has antibody PHY1323A and PHY1323S, the immunogen is KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide of Tlp18.3 derived from Arabidopsis thaliana AT1G54780.
Among 25 analyzed species, the sequence of the synthetic peptide used for immunization is 80-99% homologues with the sequence in Medicago truncatula.
