SDH1 / Anti-Succinate dehydrogenase subunit SDH1, mitochondrial antibody

SDH1 / Anti-Succinate dehydrogenase subunit SDH1, mitochondrial antibody

Mitochondrial succinate dehydrogenase complex is also called respiratory Complex II and it is an enzyme complex found in the inner mitochondrial membrane of eukaryotes. Succinate dehydrogenase complex catalyzes the oxidation of succinate to fumarate with the reduction of ubiquinone to ubiquinol. In Arabidopsis mitochondria, succinate dehydrogenase complex contains 8 subunits from SDH1-SDH8. SDH1 is encoded by AT5G66760. SDH2 is encoded by AT3G27380/AT5G40650.

PhytoAB has PHY0558S antibody for SDH1, the immunogen is KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide of SDH1 derived from Arabidopsis thaliana AT5G66760. We also have PHY0561S and PHY1112S for SDH2, the immunogen is KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide of SDH2 derived from Arabidopsis thaliana AT3G27380, AT5G40650.
For PHY0558S antibody, the sequence of the synthetic peptide used for immunization is 86% homologues with the sequence in SDH1-2 (AT2G18450). For PHY0561S and PHY1112S the sequence of the synthetic peptide used for immunization is 80% homologues with the sequence in SDH2-3 (AT5G65165).
