RPL3A / Anti-50S ribosomal protein L3-1, chloroplastic antibody

RPL3A is one of the primary rRNA binding proteins, it binds directly near the 3'-end of the 23S rRNA, where it nucleates assembly of the 50S subunit.

Among 25 analyzed species, the sequen,ce of the synthetic peptide used for immunization is 100% homologues with the sequence in Zea mays, Sorghum bicolor, and 80-99% homologues with the sequence in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803, Spinacia oleracea.
