COB / Anti-Ubiquinol-cytochrome c oxidoreductase subunit COB, mitochondrial antibody

COB / Anti-Ubiquinol-cytochrome c oxidoreductase subunit COB, mitochondrial antibody

Mitochondrial ubiquinol-cytochrome c oxidoreductase is also called complex III and it accepts electron from quinol and transferred to cytochrome c. In Arabidopsis mitochondria, ubiquinol-cytochrome c oxidoreductase contains 10 subunits. COB (ATMG00220) is one of the subunit of Complex III.

PhytoAB has antibody PHY0565S for COB, the immunogen is KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide of COB derived from Arabidopsis thaliana ATMG00220.

Among 25 analyzed species, the sequence of the synthetic peptide used for immunization is 100% homologues with the sequence in Brassica napus, Solanum lycopersicum, Vitis vinifera, Nicotiana tabacum, Solanum tuberosum, Cucumis sativus, and 80-99% homologues with the sequence in Medicago truncatula, Glycine max, Gossypium raimondii.
The sequence of the synthetic peptide used for immunization is 100% homologues with the sequence in Di-haem cytochrome, transmembrane; Cytochrome b/b6, C-terminal (AT2G07727).
