ClpS1 / Anti-ATP-dependent Clp protease ATP-binding subunit CLPT1, chloroplastic antibody
Most Clp proteins in Arabidopsis are located in the chloroplast stroma (ClpB3 (AT5G15450), ClpC1-2, ClpD (AT5G51070), ClpP1 (ATCG00670), ClpP3-6, ClpR1-4, ClpS1-2, and ClpT) and all are nucleus-encoded, except for the plastomic ClpP1. CLPT1 first binds to the heptameric P-ring containing the CLP3-6 subunits followed by CLPT2 (AT4G12060), and only then does the P-ring combine with the R-ring composed of the clpP1 and CLPR1-4 subunits.
PhytoAB has PHY0862S antibody for ATP2, the immunogen is KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide of ClpS1 derived from Arabidopsis thaliana AT4G25370.
